Refreshments:

Complimentary hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day.  We have a vending machine where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased.


Lunch:

We have a catering van which visits our premises and there are several other facilities close by where food and drinks can be purchased.  A refrigerator and a microwave are available for use in our canteen.


Parking:

We have free onsite parking where a Reverse Park Policy is in place.  Please note it is mandatory for you to adhere to this policy if using our parking facilities. 

If our car park is full, we have use of the Jarrow Hall Coach Park as an overflow.

Anyone wishing to enhance their awareness of sharp safety. This course is useful for refuse collectors, cleaners, nursing staff and anyone else who may come into contact with needles.

What To Expect

This course is designed to raise awareness of the dangers of needle stick injuries and the practical methods of retrieving a suspected contaminated needle.

Materials Required

Candidates are required to bring paper and a pen to make notes during their training.

All candidates must bring with them one of the following forms of ID:

  • A valid passport – no more than 6 months out of date
  • A valid UK photo driving license - no more than 6 months out of date
  • A photographic employee ID card 
  • A photographic ID card from an awarding body (e.g. IPAF, RTITB, NPORS)

If you do not have any of the above, please contact us for further information.
