Anyone who is renewing their Telescopic Handler Suspended Loads certification.

On successful completion of this course, candidates will receive an NPORS card.

3 Years

Candidates must hold either:

An NPORS Telescopic Handler certification with at least 3 months remaining 

Or

Any other Telescopic Handler certification with at least 12 months remaining

And

Suspended Loads certification.

This course is designed to refresh candidates theoretical and practical skills to enable them to correctly prepare, safely operate and Telescopic Handler with a jib or lifting attachment for use with suspended loads.

NPORS Traditional Route - The card will last for 3 years. An NVQ is not required. The CITB Health, Safety & Environment touch screen test is not a prerequisite.

NPORS CSCS Route - Delegates will receive a red card, carrying the CSCS Logo, which is valid for 2 years. If you complete your NVQ within this time a blue card is issued which then lasts 5 years. Delegates must also have completed the CITB Health, Safety & Environment touch screen test within 2 years prior to the course. If you require the CITB Health, Safety & Environment touch screen test please let us know and we can arrange this for you. If an NVQ has already been completed, please let us know and you will receive a blue card lasting 5 years

• Theoretical training and assessment.
• Practical training and assessment.

We automatically apply for NPORS cards that expire by category. If you require a card that expires by card, please contact us to discuss. 

Candidates must hold either:

•    Suspended Loads certification

Candidates are required to bring paper and a pen to make notes during their training.

All candidates must bring with them one of the following forms of ID:

• A valid passport – no more than 6 months out of date
• A valid UK photo driving license - no more than 6 months out of date
• A photographic employee ID card 
• A photographic ID card from an awarding body (e.g. IPAF, RTITB, NPORS)
