Any experienced 360 excavator drivers who would like to renew their certification.

On successful completion of this course, candidates will receive an NPORS card.

3 Years

Candidates must have a current 360 excavator certificate and be able to provide proof of this prior to course commencement.

This course is designed to refresh candidates theoretical and practical skills to enable them to safely operate 360 Excavators.

NPORS Traditional Route - The card will last for 3 years. An NVQ is not required. The CITB Health, Safety & Environment touch screen test is not a prerequisite.

NPORS CSCS Route - Delegates will receive a red card, carrying the CSCS Logo, which is valid for 2 years. If you complete your NVQ within this time a blue card is issued which then lasts 5 years. Delegates must also have completed the CITB Health, Safety & Environment touch screen test within 2 years prior to the course. If you require the CITB Health, Safety & Environment touch screen test please let us know and we can arrange this for you. If an NVQ has already been completed, please let us know and you will receive a blue card lasting 5 years.

Course Overview
Designed to refresh both theoretical knowledge and hands-on ability of experienced operators, ensuring safe operation of 360-degree excavators, in line with current NPORS standards.

Certification Routes

NPORS Traditional Route:

• Valid for 3 years
• No NVQ or CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) test required

NPORS-CSCS Certification Route:

• Red card (valid for 2 years) issued upon completion

• To upgrade to a blue card (valid for 5 years), you must complete a relevant NVQ
• Already got the NVQ? You’ll get the blue card straight away

Note: Speak to us to arrange the CITB Health and Safety awareness course and HS&E (CSCS) touch screen test if required.

We automatically apply for NPORS cards that expire by category. If you require a card that expires by card, please contact us to discuss. 

If candidates hold a Health, Safety and Environment Test and would like this to appear on their NPORS card, please ensure they bring a copy of the card with them to the course. Without the copy, the Health and Safety logo will NOT appear on the NPORS card.

Candidates are required to bring paper and a pen to make notes during their training.

All candidates must bring with them one of the following forms of ID:

• A valid passport – no more than 6 months out of date
• A valid UK photo driving license - no more than 6 months out of date
• A photographic employee ID card 
• A photographic ID card from an awarding body (e.g. IPAF, RTITB, NPORS)

If this course is eligible for a short course grant, please ensure we have your levy number before the course start date, and your candidates provide their national insurance numbers on the day of the course. Without this information, we cannot claim the levy on your behalf and take no responsibility for the grant not being claimed.
