Anyone who uses a Winch in their role, such as Utility Workers.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive an Expedient Certificate.

3 Years

The course must be delivered on the customers site and they must provide all equipment.

On completion of this course candidates will have the skills and knowledge for safe winching operations. This course will focus on the use and application of the Grundowinch.

• Theoretical training and assessment.
• Practical training and assessment.

Must provide the following equipment:

• Winch with operator handbook
• Cobra reel
• Swivel/shackle
• Towing head (63mm)

Candidates are required to bring paper and a pen to make notes during their training.

All candidates must bring with them one of the following forms of ID:

• A valid passport – no more than 6 months out of date
• A valid UK photo driving license - no more than 6 months out of date
• A photographic employee ID card 
• A photographic ID card from an awarding body (e.g. IPAF, RTITB, NPORS)
