The Level 3 Award in Education and Training has been designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work, or currently work, in further education, colleges, independent training providers and local authorities.

This qualification will not expiry and is maintained with evidence of continued professional development. 

There are no prerequisits for this course.

On day one there will be a short literacy and numeracy test as part of the initial assessment process.

There will be a workbook that will need to be completed during and after the course has finished; a date will be set for completion by the trainer on day one.

There will be homework set after each day to be completed before the following session.

You will need to plan and deliver a 20-minute micro-teach session during the course as part of the assessment process.

You will leave our course feeling confident in your new skills, and well equipped ready to use them.

You will be assessed on your micro teach session during the course where feedback will be given.

After the course you will have an agreed amount of time to submit your completed workbook, this will be marked by the instructor and on successful submission to the Awarding Body, Qualsafe, your certificate will be released.
