Achievement of this qualification will ensure that staff have the confidence to manage the continuity of the food safety chain in any retail situation. The qualification also focuses on how HACCP is applied to food safety in a retail environment and the role that those responsible for food safety should take to ensure that management systems are implemented and verified.

Those achieving this qualification will be compliant with their employer’s requirement to train them commensurate with their work activities. The qualification is recognised by enforcement officers and auditors from nationally-recognised or independent auditing schemes.

This qualification is achieved by completing a quiz book (6-8 hours) followed by a two day classroom based course.
