This course designed for prehospital care providers who have a specific responsibility at work to be able to safely administer and monitor the effects of medication.

Level 3 Safe Administration of Medication - SALM

In order to maintain this qualification, the learner must maintain a current continuing professional development (CPD) portfolio related to the learning outcomes of the qualification that is sufficient to demonstrate an ability to provide safe and current practice, and complete an annual Intermediate Life Support course.

Be at least 18 years old on the first day of the training and 

Be employed by a CQC registered organisation (or overseas equivalent) and 

Have successfully completed the Qualsafe Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) or a QA recognised equivalent. 

You will leave our course feeling confident in your new skills, and well equipped should you ever need to use them.

There are practical assessments for this qualification, plus a theory assessment which is a workbook for the learner to complete.
