The Level 4 First Response Emergency Care (FREC®) Certificate is a further step up from the FREC Level 3. The Level 4 course is designed to further your understanding of anatomy and physiology, advance your level of clinical intervention and further prepare you to both assist a Paramedic and access the Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care.The Level 4 FREC® Course is for those seeking a career in the emergency services, ambulance services, the event medical sector or those who work in high risk workplaces. This Course is the only access within the FREC® suite to move onto the Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care.      

Qualsafe Awards Level 4 First Response Emergency Care (FREC 4)

You are required to hold a current and in date First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) certification or equivilant to enter this qualification and submit, no later than 7 days prior to day 1 of the FREC 4 course, a CPD log with a minimum of 118 hours.

The CPD log can include operational experience ie; events, frontline experience within an Emergency Service or the Military. It can also include reading, listening to podcats and attending CPD conferences/seminars/courses.

You will leave our course feeling confident in your new skills, and well equipped ready to use them.

Ongoing practical assessment throughout the course along with an exam.

There are also workbooks which need to be completed and submitted by the agreed deadline.
