- Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking.
- Manage a casualty with external bleeding.

- Understand how to manage a casualty with a minor injury.
- Understand how to manage a casualty with minor burns and scalds.

We have a catering van which visits our premises and there are several other facilities close by where food and drinks can be purchased. A refrigerator and a microwave is available for se in our canteen.
We have free onsite parking where a Reverse Park Policy is in place. Please note it is mandatory for you to adhere to this policy if using our parking facilities.

If our car park is full, we have use of the Jarrow Hall Coach Park as an overflow carpark
Anyone wishing to undertake Emergency First Aid training.
Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will receive an Expedient certificate validated by FAIB.

This training enables candidates to take charge and manage an incident. Candidates will be able to coordinate with the emergency services as necessary.

Candidates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline.
Candidates are required to bring paper and a pen to make notes during their training.
All candidates must bring with them one of the following forms of ID:
- A valid passport – no more than 6 months out of date
- A valid UK photo driving license - no more than 6 months out of date
- A photographic employee ID card
- A photographic ID card from an awarding body (e.g. IPAF, RTITB, NPORS)
