Outcomes / Objectives of the Course:
1. Understand what the CDM regulations are.
2. Identify the responsibilities of duty holders.
3. Recognise the importance of the requirements for assessment of knowledge, skills, experience and resources in the appointment of duty holders.
4. Demonstrate knowledge of the application of the 'Principles of prevention' to eliminate, reduce and control risks.
5. Identify the requirements for project documentation.
6. Identify the requirements for the provision of information.

The training will be useful for those that require a basic understanding of what the CDM regulations are and how they impact construction industry.
Candidates will receive an Expedient certificate in Construction Design and Management (CDM) Awareness.

The aim of this course is to provide learners with an introduction to the CDM 2015 legislation. The course is designed to give an overview of all the duty holder roles and legal duties under current legislation and candidates will learn about responsibilities under the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.
