- The essential elements required to successfully joint using butt fusion methods.
- The ability to join PE pipe together in line with industry standards.
- Correctly set up butt fusion equipment ready for operation.
- Correctly introduce PE pipe into machines to eliminate joint fault.
- Demonstrate the ability to use various machines provided.
- Apply a level of quality assurance to completed joints to ensure suitability to carry water and gas.
- Carry out the butt fusion process in accordance with health and safety requirements.

Complimentary hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day. We have a vending machine where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased.
We have a catering van which visits our premises and there are several other facilities close by where food and drinks can be purchased. A refrigerator and a microwave are available for use in our canteen.
We have free onsite parking where a Reverse Park Policy is in place. Please note it is mandatory for you to adhere to this policy if using our parking facilities.

If our car park is full, we have use of the Jarrow Hall Coach Park as an overflow carpark

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a virtual EUSR card.

Candidates must hold an in date PE Technology Butt Fusion certificate and be able to provide proof of this prior to booking.
This course refreshes candidates knowledge and skills required to join polyethylene pipe safely using butt fusion techniques.
- Theoretical training and assessment.
- Practical training and assessment.
Please inform us of what diameter pipe you would like to be trained on.
Candidates must hold an in date PE Technology Butt Fusion certificate and be able to provide proof of this prior to booking.
Candidates are required to bring paper and a pen to make notes during their training.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the course start time for registration. Candidates arriving later than the advised course starting time may not be admitted onto a training course. Please call us on 0191 489 0212 if you are running late.
Photographic ID MUST be provided as per the EUSR Identity Verification Policy.
Where ID cannot be provided, please refer to the EUSR Waiver Form on the link.
